Biography

POPY belongs to BanG Dream!’s Yumenokessho singing-synthesis project and uses the voice of Poppin’Party’s Kasumi Toyama, performed by Aimi. The character offers editable singing for creators; its history is not identical to Kasumi’s appearances in animation, games or live cast performances.

The CeVIO AI download arrived in December 2022. In January 2023, kemu’s “Hanayobu Koe” credited POPY and ROSE together as singers, placing the libraries in a released music work. The later official product catalogue also lists Synthesizer V and Synthesizer V 2 editions.

This is separate from the boxed product and “Hanayobu Koe.” Synthesizer V edition dates remain incomplete, and the voicebank is not merged with its originating BanG Dream! character.
