Biography

Yuezheng Ling developed from the early VOCALOID China design project. The character was unveiled in 2012; a VOCALOID3 singing library followed in 2015 with Qi Inory as the voice provider. Character introduction and software release are separate milestones.

In the fictional setting she plays guitar and is Longya’s younger sister; this is character lore, not a performer’s personal history. The 2017 compilation Ling and later VOCALOID5 library trace the project’s development into an ongoing musical instrument and artist identity.
