Biography

Metaverse Entertainment introduced MAVE: with SIU:, ZENA:, TYRA: and MARTY:. Kakao Entertainment describes the project as a collaboration between Netmarble F&C’s virtual-production technology and Kakao’s music planning, production and artist management. PANDORA’S BOX, released on January 25, 2023, credits Metaverse Entertainment as the production company and Kakao as distributor. [2] [4]

The debut single album contains two songs. PANDORA uses trap-oriented drums and synthesizers for its resistance theme, while WONDERLAND (IDYPIA) presents an apparently ideal but emotionally empty world through SIU:’s character perspective. IDYPIA is fictional music-video lore. Netmarble’s February retrospective also records an appearance on MBC’s Show! Music Core, bringing the characters into a Korean television music programme. [4] [5]

Netmarble’s 2023 ESG report specifies motion capture, real-time 3D rendering and AI speech. PANDORA’s release credits separately name composers including MAXX SONG and Dr.Ahn. These sources describe a production chain involving digital systems and music creators. They do not disclose every recording’s vocal processing or establish that singing, dancing and conversation are all autonomously generated. [3] [6]

After the musical debut, Kakao announced a planned webtoon on February 14, 2023, in a page published on February 17. Produced by Why Not Me, it reworked the four characters’ time-travel premise into an alternate story about an audition in Korea. MAVE: thus developed fiction around a performer project, rather than extracting a group from an established comic. [2]

The first EP, What’s My Name, was released on November 30, 2023. Its five songs—Everyday, the title track, Assemble, Milkshake and So Fly—develop the characters’ search for identity and encounters with everyday life. Release credits and participating music supplier Soundgraphics document the writing teams; Soundgraphics specifically identifies its contributions to Milkshake and So Fly. [7] [8]
