Biography

Kizuna AI’s public activity began with A.I.Channel on 1 December 2016, followed by the gaming channel A.I.Games in March 2017. A recurring virtual character hosted videos and gameplay before expanding into music and live entertainment. [1] [5]

Her first original song, Hello, Morning, arrived on 15 July 2018 with composition and arrangement by Nor, beginning a concentrated music-release phase. Solo hello, world concerts followed in Tokyo and Osaka that December. On 15 May 2019, upd8 music released the full-length album hello, world, including Yasutaka Nakata’s production AIAIAI. Kizuna AI Inc. was established on 11 May 2020 to manage talent and produce content. That September, Kizuna AI and KAF released the collaborative single 愛と花. Her second major solo concert took place online on 23 January 2021 using xR presentation under the title hello, world 2020; the year in its title is not its actual performance year. [6] [1]

Following The Last Live “hello, world 2022” on 26 February 2022, Kizuna AI entered an extended hiatus officially called “sleep.” Announced that day, #kzn is a distinct singing character and CeVIO AI software project derived from her voice for creators to make songs. [1] [7] [8]

Kizuna AI resumed activity on 26 February 2025 with a renewed musical focus. Her post-return album Homecoming was released on 17 September, followed by comeback concerts at Zepp Shinjuku on 20–21 September. The official post-show report documents かもね, ハンドサイン and guest Hoshimachi Suisei. [9] [2]

Public production credits document human participation: Homecoming lists Voice Actor Nozomi Kasuga and Character Design En Morikura alongside its songwriters and producers. By 20 October 2026, the catalogue also listed モンスターファクトリー, released on 9 October with music and lyrics by Hidefumi Kenmochi. [2]
