Biography
ANA is a realistic digital human developed by KRAFTON for music and entertainment. The company revealed her first teaser image on June 13, 2022, already announcing plans for original music. Her recording debut followed in September. [3] [4]
KRAFTON describes a production pipeline using Unreal Engine to render skin and hair, facial and body rigging to animate expressions, eyes and joints, and deep-learning voice synthesis to produce her voice. Visual appearance, movement and sound are separate production components. [3]
On August 4, 2022, the company released full-body imagery, everyday short-form videos and a storyworld, subsequently introducing YouTube and Instagram channels. The character enjoys games, singing, dancing and fashion; a green crystal teleportation ring and the mood-changing FIZZ bubble gun belong to her fictional story. [1] [4]
ANA released her first digital single, SHINE BRIGHT, on September 15, with H1GHR MUSIC’s Cha Cha Malone contributing to lyrics and composition. The pop-dance track encourages attention to oneself rather than others’ judgments. KRAFTON attributes the singing to deep-learning voice synthesis and the animated dance in its music video to facial and body rigging, combining human music production with digital performance.
